Renee began taking piano lessons at the age of 8, and began formal vocal training when she entered college at the age of 17. Renee has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance--Vocal Emphasis from the University of La Verne in California, where she also obtained her Teaching Credential (Music K-12) and Master of Education degree.
In her time on stage she has been featured as a pianist, vocalist, and dancer. She has also had the privilege of being the choir director and pianist at three large churches in the Los Angeles area. In her years as a classroom teacher Renee has been working with children in grades K-8 teaching music (including Kodaly and Orff instruction), forming children's choirs, and teaching English Language Arts.
She has taught private piano and voice lessons to diverse students since 2002, and enjoys helping each one find their unique talents.
